For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Hebrews 4:15
If Jesus has empathy for sinners, understanding the draw of temptation, how should Christians behave? We as sinners ourselves don’t only empathize with sinners, we sympathize! We have been in the exact same lost and lonely state those outside the Gospel now find themselves in. How can we do anything but feel for them and want them to be saved?
