Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Peacemakers are not peacekeepers, they go into places where there is no peace and participate in the divine art of creation, bringing about peace where it was absent. In the same way, peacemakers gain the benefits of peace when it comes to fruition.

Righteousness is that fruit, the final product of peace. What a gift! Peace is not an end unto itself, but rather the toil of the peacemaker produces good people and good works.
