His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

2 Peter 1:3-4

The world is a hard place to live in sometimes. Even if we have enough money, we might lack time. Even if we have time, we might lack understanding. Even if we have insight and intelligence, we might lack connections. On and on it goes. There is always something missing to leading a perfect, easy life.

Not so with our Spiritual lives! God provides every single thing we need to be what he needs us to be. Our godly lives are assured by the relationship we have with him. He has given us everything we need, if only we use it.
