Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?” But others said, “These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?” John 10:20-21

There are generally two ways people talk about something: a negative framing or a positive framing. You can either talk about all the things something is not or talk about what it is. You can talk about why something is bad or why something is better.

When it comes to how people perceive things, negative talk goes further and faster than positive framing. You always hear bad news before you hear good news.

But there is a third option: positive action.

Jesus talked about His message, but not without also doing good for people. When He wanted someone to hear what He had to say, He also made sure they saw His heart for them in His actions. That should be our model as well. For every good word, there should be a good deed to back it up!
