For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

Romans 5:19

It is hard to accept that one person can change the world; we often feel that our struggles are in vain as we do our best to lead people to a better understanding of Jesus and what he does for us. But the Church through the scripture knows that through one man the world was doomed and through one Man the world has been saved.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So also it is written: “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” The last Adam was a life-giving spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:42-45

Jesus is able to save the whole world. He is just one man. So if you feel intimidated about doing your part to help change the world just remember that all it takes is one person. Besides, Jesus already did the hard part by saving us from sin. Compared to that, our job is easy.
