My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

1 John 2:1

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Romans 8:34

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

1 timothy 2:5-6

Your sins, your unpayable debt, have been paid by Jesus. Is he done with His work? No, he sits at the right hand of God and his role is to defend our case. But when the charges are brought, when the debt must be paid, it is found that the obligation is already paid and that the one who made us whole is the one with authority to judge us. So if the judge is our advocate and the one who has removed our debts, we have no fear of the court!

What more could we ask for?
