Why are we also in danger every hour? I affirm, brothers and sisters, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that I die daily. If from human motives I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what good is it to me? If the dead are not raised, let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

1 Corinthians 15:30-34

There is no distance between our belief in God and his salvation sent through Jesus and our willingness to go through struggles on his behalf. Resurrection motivates us to undergo all kinds of struggles, because of their temporary nature in the eternal timeline. Indeed if the resurrection is not real, the Christian walk is more than meaningless, it is foolish.

Therefore, living as a sinner when we know better is not just Spiritually damaging to ourselves but it is a cause of stumbling for those who do not know God because they come to see that there is no difference between brazen sinners inside or outside the church.

So a life of resurrection is a life in which sin has been put to death, even if we are in danger because we know eternal life is ours.
