Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets full you picked up?

Matthew 16:9

Whenever you think about a task that needs done, don’t measure your resources like the apostles did. They looked at the food that they had on hand and at the crowd and thought, “naturally, we can’t feed all of these people!” But God intervened supernaturally to see that he was glorified through the good work that needed done.

When we pursue the goals of the gospel, we don’t need to worry about where the opportunities or resources will come from. As long as we are working for the Lord, he will provide them. Don’t be forgetful like the apostles! Remember who you work for!
