The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light. And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal dwellings.

What is it we are doing with what God has given us? I don’t just mean money, but that’s important too. What are we doing with our time? Our words? Our attention?

We need to be intentional. You know who is counting on us not being intentional? The advertisers on the internet, the charlatans on the news and all of those crooks in Washington, not to mention our Enemy. So if Satan is going to very intentionally throw everything he has at us, we have to be ready to face that challenge.

Money, power and influence can pull us away from pure motives. So why not buy the attention of everyone you can to pull them to Jesus? I don’t mean go take out a billboard; I mean influence who you can for Jesus in the ways that you know how. And mean it!
