If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

1 Corinthians 12: 26-27

Do you know what the largest organ in your body is? It might be obvious or it might take a second look, depending on your mindset. The skin; it’s the barrier between us and the dangers of the outside world. Beneath the surface, we have about forty trillion cells all working together to keep the body healthy. This is why the New Testament writers like Paul spent so much time talking about unity. It is through the things that keep us together that we grow and stay healthy as a Church. Our dependence on each other is not a weakness but a strength. What others might see as restrictive is supportive. What others might see as limitation is liberation. Let’s all learn to lean on each other in the Lord!
