Think

For wisdom is protection just as money is protection, But the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the lives of its possessors.
Ecclesiastes 7:12

It’s easy to think of money as a solution to problems. For some issues, it certainly is an effective tool. Without the wisdom and experience to use it properly, however, money is easily lost or spent.

What we should invest in, the thing we should work hard to acquire, is wisdom. No matter the economy, the currency or the availability of opportunities to sell someone your time and talent, wisdom will always provide a way to survive.

The great thing is that we’re not talking about what many see as intelligence here. You don’t have to be a walking encyclopedia or a human calculator to be wise. All you need is the insight to apply the knowledge of your experiences when it counts!

Prayer

God of Creation, give me the wisdom you promised through the writer James so that I can make the right choices this week. I know that the experiences you have given me help me to know how to do better. Thank you. Amen
