For this is what the high and exalted One says—

he who lives forever, whose name is holy:

“I live in a high and holy place,

but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,

to revive the spirit of the lowly

and to revive the heart of the contrite.”

Isaiah 57:15

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
    for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
    for they will inherit the earth.”

Matthew 5:3-5

Heaven has a place for those in need of comfort; God has a will to uplift the lowly and contrite and give them strength of the heart and soul.
